CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!

We cast 40 of the 92 that auditioned…so, it was a difficult task! There were MANY talented people to choose from, and we took into account SCHEDULES, OTHER ACTIVITES, etc to make sure that student to do more than one activity without killing themselves, and that people were well balanced.

Mr. Colburn and I are very excited about this cast, and about the next years of musicals, as there is SO MUCH young talent! But we want all of you to be part, so join us on CREW!!! BE PART OF OUR FAMILY!!! There is enough fun for all!

These were HARD decisions...VERY hard! I had a lot of input from coaches, teachers, friends, college profs and past students. I am sure that this cast will be OUTSTANDING!!!

For those cast, please note that I have not listed all the roles…as we are still working with the script (long story, but there is a 1994 and a 1955 version of the script, and we are working with both). Roles like the teacher, the fans, Mambo dancers, post master, reporters, specialty number performers, bat girls and Limbo ensemble will be assigned later next week! Just know that it is going to be fun! Just ask the kids that did the show last year, and you will hear how everyone will have a good time!

 

FIRST MEETING: Wednesday (SEPT 19) evening at 6:30. We will listen to some music, talk about the show, introduce each other and talk about the look and feel of the show as well as schedule for next weeks. We will NOT be reading the script or starting dance yet. We are working on a master schedule based on what was put on your sheets. It is hard to schedule if you have changes, so keep in mind that we may have to recast if schedules become a problem.
